Pegasus Steel is a professional heavy steel fabrication service center with a reputation for integrity, quality, and service. Pegasus Steel specializes in the cutting and forming of steel from both sheet and heavy plate in all grades of material, including stainless steel and aluminum.
Since its inception in 1994, Pegasus Steel has grown to be the supplier of choice to over 380 engineering facilities throughout Southern Africa, as well as exporting to the Middle East and Singapore. We currently process steel for over 80% of the heavy engineering industry in South Africa.
The Company was founded by Tony Deering and Alex Russell, and from humble beginnings with limited resources, Pegasus Steel is now the benchmark for quality and service within the South African steel industry. Pegasus Steel has opened a 104,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Operations began August 1, 2007.
