Tony started in the steel industry at the age of 17 and, except for a period of service as a member of the South African Airborne Forces in the late 1980s, has devoted his entire career to the steel industry. He founded Pegasus Steel with business partner Alex Russell in 1994, and in that time has grown the company to become one of the world's most well-respected steel processing enterprises.
